British Sky Broadcasting Limited (Sky), the UK and Ireland’s leading home entertainment and communications company, has extended its Agama DTV Monitoring Solution deployment to also cover its over-the-top (OTT) service playout.
Agama has been chosen by Finecom Telecommunications, the second largest cable network in Switzerland, to provide its DTV Monitoring Solution for continuous and real-time TV service quality monitoring, assurance and analytics.
Belgian IP television specialist Alpha Networks is implementing the Agama DTV Monitoring Solution for its cloud-based TV hosting platform in view of supporting a first, yet undisclosed joint commercial IPTV and multiscreen service deployment.
The integration of Agama’s renowned Embedded Monitoring Solution with NexStreaming’s NexPlayer SDK – an HLS player SDK for Android, iOS, Windows 8 and Google TV – allows video service providers with OTT multiscreen applications to extend their Agama continuous and real-time monitoring, assurance and analytics technology into the subscribers’ NexStreaming-powered viewing devices.
