The new Agama Augmented Intelligence (AAI) capabilities, introduced a few months ago at IBC 2024, add intelligence across workflows to enhance our video observability and analytics platform.
Our goal is simple: improve decision-making with quick insights, make it easier to understand video performance, optimize delivery workflows and increase viewer satisfaction.
We believe that AI is best applied when tailored to a specific use case, to assist the users. This is why we are adding AAI (Agama Augmented Intelligence) in multiple parts of the solution, starting with ‘explain my data’ for automated insights in dashboards and analytics apps, and ‘chat with the manual’ to quickly find the best way to do configuration changes or use different parts of the solution.
Useful applications for AI-powered capabilities
One new feature is “Chat with the manual”, an AI-based tool that allows you to interact with the system for instant troubleshooting and problem-solving. You can ask directly on the platform for clear, step-by-step instructions and solutions, also available in multiple languages. It speeds up navigating the system and fixing problems, making complicated tasks easier to handle.
When asking a simple question like “How to configure a network channel”, this new feature will quickly provide you with the steps you need to take and guidelines on how to do it, saving you the time and effort of hunting for instructions.
Another feature, “Explain my data” is integrated across Product Analytics and Dashboards, transforming raw data into actionable insights. It analyzes results, puts trends in context, and compares actual data against expected values and event volumes. With these insights, customers can make informed decisions, boosting service quality and ensuring the best viewer experience.
This is a concrete example of how to check, at any given moment, if there is any unusual activity by tracking KPIs occurring on the CDN side.

We are excited to bring intelligence augmentation into the Agama platform – it will surely elevate operational efficiency and help our users to accomplish more.
This first step will be complemented with additional AAI capabilities, like automating the generation of configurations and settings based on user input in order to further streamline workflows.
