In this video, we introduce Agama MCP (Model Context Protocol) and explain how it enables large language models (LLMs) to securely interact with data from the Agama Platform. You’ll learn what MCP is, how Agama MCP works, and why it’s different from traditional APIs. We demonstrate real examples using LLM tools like ChatGPT, including querying alarms, analyzers, and system data through natural language. We also show how Agama MCP can be used beyond the Agama UI, powering custom applications, automated reports, integrations with tools like ServiceNow or TOPdesk, and advanced workflow automation. Agama MCP allows AI systems to discover available tools, choose the right actions based on context, and interact intelligently with Agama data, without exposing customer-specific or personally identifiable information. Agama MCP is LLM-agnostic, supports major AI platforms, and is available in Agama version 11.
