Linköping, Sweden, November 22, 2021 – Agama Technologies, the leading provider in video service quality and customer experience, today announces that it has canceled its participation at IBC2021, scheduled for December 3-6 in Amsterdam.
The decision was based on the latest COVID developments in the Netherlands, which prompted the Dutch government to impose a partial lockdown in order to stop the record high numbers and to release the pressure on the already crowded hospitals.
“With much sadness, we have taken the decision to drop out from IBC this year. Our employees, customers, and partners’ health and safety are our top priority and we do not want to be in a situation where this would become an issue” says Mikael Dahlgren, CEO at Agama Technologies.
“We stay committed to meeting our partners and customers and continue our collaboration, and for now we’d be happy to achieve this by other means, like webinars and online meetings. At the same time, we remain confident that this is just a temporary situation, and we look forward to a more normal 2022 in which we can meet you all face to face”.
