Apple’s new Privacy Manifest requirement mandates that apps explicitly disclose the privacy-related data they collect, the purposes for this collection, and the APIs used, starting May 1st. The latest AVPlayer plugin now includes a privacy manifest. Additionally, we have optimised our core agent, client, to eliminate the need for a privacy manifest by replacing all privacy-sensitive APIs without compromising its features. With these updates in the AVPlayer plugin and the client, along with a streamlined upgrade process, Agama aims to simplify compliance with Apple’s requirements for its customers.
Plugins and clients are continually updated to include new features, enhance security, support the latest players, and ensure compatibility with the newest OS releases. Our priority is to streamline and secure the entire workflow. To simplify upgrades and guarantee customer access to the latest versions, Agama has initiated email broadcasts. This process will help to ensure that existing integrations benefit from the latest features and security enhancements.
