Agama 12 brings proactive intelligence to video observability and analytics
New AI-assisted investigation, deeper analytics and expanded observability help video service providers move faster from data to answers

Linköping, Sweden, September 10, 2026 Agama, a specialist in video observability and analytics, today announced Agama 12, the latest version of its Video Observability and Analytics platform.

Agama 12 marks a further shift towards more proactive video operations, helping teams move from navigating data and dashboards to identifying what matters, understanding why it is happening and deciding where to act.

The release expands Agama Augmented Intelligence (A2I), introduces new analytics capabilities across the subscriber base, strengthens CDN, advertising and playout observability, introduces the updated 360 Live Mosaic, and brings a unified user experience across the Agama product portfolio.

Key highlights in Agama 12:

  • A2I – an integrated team of AI assistants
Agama Augmented Intelligence expands into a team of AI-assisted capabilities supporting different operational and analytical workflows. Users can start with a question in natural language and let A2I investigate live service data, compare information and present findings together with relevant visualizations.
  • Customer Care with AI Support – quicker diagnosis during every customer interaction
AI-assisted analysis is extended into Customer Care, combining household and service information to help agents understand where a viewer’s problem is likely to originate, explain the situation in simple language and support the next troubleshooting step.
  • Product & Content Engagementdeeper analytics with AI assistance
Product Analytics gains new Funnel and Journey analysis, while Content Engagement adds the Content Engagement Analyst, an integrated AI-assisted capability for custom investigation. Teams can explore how users navigate the service, where they convert or drop off, how engagement changes over time and how quality relates to behavior, helping product, content and commercial teams reach insights faster.
  • Operational Analytics for Devices and QoS Lens – faster and deeper analysis
Operational Analytics for Devices has been rebuilt for dynamic analysis across the full device population and more than 100 metrics and events. QoS Lens has also been rebuilt server-side, enabling fast analysis across all available data and longer time ranges.
  • CDN performance and status – visibility down to individual edge caches
Teams can examine metrics including time to first byte, HTTP errors and request rates per server, making it easier to isolate infrastructure issues and support discussions with CDN providers. Quality and status information is available down to individual CDN edge caches, based on measurements from Agama Analyzer OTT.
  • HUD – interactive dashboards with more flexibility and control
HUD is the new dashboard application, with a smaller set of flexible widgets replacing the old static ones, improved layouts and built-in prediction. Customers can also add their own widgets and convert existing dashboards, making advanced dashboards easier to configure and adapt.

“Video operations teams already have access to vast amounts of data. One of the challenges is turning the data into clear, actionable insight,” said Johan Görsjö, Director of Product & Engineering at Agama. “With Agama 12, we are taking another step towards a more proactive platform. Analytics can point teams towards what stands out, AI can support the investigation, and deeper observability across the delivery chain gives teams the context they need to act faster.”

Agama 12 will be showcased at IBC2026 in Amsterdam, 11–14 September, at stand 1.B50.
